Digital Sales Manager

 

Description

 

We are seeking an experienced podcast ad sales pro to sell audio ads across our portfolio of over 200 podcasts.

Reporting to the VP of Digital Sales and Partnerships, our Sales Superstar will work to grow digital ad revenue by presenting audio advertising opportunities and sponsorships directly to brands, digital ad agencies, and direct response agencies. Our digital audio ad offerings include a large footprint in podcasting and streaming audio, with integrations that include social media. The ideal candidate should be familiar with audio advertising, know how to creatively leverage assets to meet strategic client objectives, and be a relentless prospector for MORE. This role allows the opportunity for exponential growth for a high achieving candidate. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Grow ad client base at key digital agencies

  • Generate, manage, and effectively close ad pipeline

  • Connect with decision-makers to evangelize the benefits of digital audio to brands

  • Understand the individual needs of clients and be agile to pitch a wide range of audio ad products based on needs (not a 1 size fits all approach)

  • Work in tandem with content, ad ops, and marketing in providing ad solutions for new and existing clients

 

The ideal candidate:

  • BA/BS degree or higher

  • 2+ years related experience selling podcast advertising

  • Knowledgeable about ad landscape and products including familiarity with digital impression-based media buying

  • Relentless prospector that thrives in a team environment

  • Top-notch work ethic

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for audio, particularly podcasts

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPointGoogle Apps (including Gmail, Drive, Sheets, and Docs)
