Fall is in the air, which means the most active time of year for sports fans is underway. From play-by-play coverage to expert analysis, our lineup of sports programming puts fans in the driver’s seat, in the end zone, and inside the biggest headlines.
Who will take home the cup?
We’re on the road to the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup championship which kicked off in September at Chicagoland Speedway and the drama just keeps unfolding. The best-of-the-best has been narrowed down to a field of twelve drivers going into Charlotte this weekend then Talladega the next. By the end of the Kansas showdown, only the “Elite Eight” drivers will remain. The competition is also heating up for Xfinity and Truck drivers in pursuit of the series championship titles. And millions of listeners will be tuning into MRN and PRN’s 360-degree coverage for every turn and every headline.
The biggest story of the season so far has been Dale Jr.’s retirement. Although he’s not in top rankings, fans won’t want to miss the final laps of his professional career. Dale has made his mark as one of the most influential and recognizable personalities in the sport, but it’s also time to watch the next generation of drivers who are stepping up to fill those shoes. In this year’s playoffs, Chase Elliot, Kyle Larson, and Ryan Blaney have been holding their own. Oh, and they’re all under 25 with long promising careers ahead of them.
Martin Truex Jr., a favorite to win, went out of the gates strong with an effortless win at Chicagoland. But Kyle Busch snagged back-to-back wins at New Hampshire and Dover, putting him in the number two spot and just a few points behind. Holding strong in the top three is Kyle Larson, who’s had an incredible year so far. But with new rules in place for this year, anything can happen in the next few weeks. Jimmie Johnson may even sneak in to take home championship number eight.

Who’s dominating the gridiron?
Will Clemson defend their title, or will Alabama get redemption? Will Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield continue to crush in his run for the Heisman? Touchdown Radio’s remaining broadcasts tell of the unfolding drama of the college football season.
With featured match-ups boasting top fifteen-ranked teams, the season will only get better as competition heats up. At least two more games will feature the number one Alabama, a team vying hard for the title this year after coming up short against Clemson.
In the battle for the Heisman, two QBs from Oklahoma are showing promise. Veteran Baker Mayfield leading number three OU may have it in the bag, but OSU’s Mason Rudolph is also on the watch list of many analysts. Oklahoma will take on Kansas State on October 21st.
