New York, NY – June 19, 2017 – AdLarge Media has announced the 2017 Schedule of NCAA College Football Games from Touchdown Radio, the sports radio network founded and led by legendary quarterback Gino Torretta. Touchdown Radio is entering its 10th year with a dynamic schedule of games that will engage college football fans. AdLarge Media will continue to handle the exclusive national ad sales representation.
Torretta is the most celebrated football player in the University of Miami’s history and the Chief Executive Officer and color analyst for Touchdown Radio. He has won two national championships for Miami and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the coveted Heisman Trophy, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. He also earned First Team All-American honors from The Associated Press, Kodak, and The Football News.
“Gino brings insights that only a player of his magnitude can deliver,” stated Gary Schonfeld, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of AdLarge Media. “We are proud to be the exclusive national ad representative for Touchdown Radio, and to be able to offer our advertisers this terrific opportunity to connect with college’s passionate football fans.”
“We’ve had tremendous success with AdLarge Media,” noted Torretta. “AdLarge has been a terrific partner for us, and we are excited to continue our relationship as we head into the riveting 2017 season.”
The Touchdown Radio schedule for 2017 kicks off with one of last season’s CFP playoff participants, Ohio State. The high-stakes games throughout the 2017 season include: two games with last season’s #2 team, Alabama, in two SEC showdowns - one with interstate rival Auburn in the Iron Bowl; and a Penn State-Ohio State rematch of the game that was Ohio State's only regular season loss last year.
The schedule also features lots of player action with the return of Louisville's Heisman Trophy winner, Lamar Jackson, on September 9th and USC Heisman candidate and potential #1 NFL draft pick Sam Darnold in the September 23rd game. Plus, new LSU Coach Ed Orgeron debuts in an SEC showdown with MS State on September 16th.
