PR: The Tackling Life Podcast With Sports Superstar Ray Lewis and Renowned Psychologist Dr. Christia
New York, NY – November 11, 2016 – The Tackling Life Podcast, hosted by Super Bowl MVP and NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis and emotional management expert Dr. Christian Conte, launched today with a very special guest - James Conner, the college football star whose inspiring story reflects the theme and purpose of the motivational podcast.
An impressive and rising player with the Pittsburgh Panthers, Conner’s 2015 season was cut short by a season-ending knee injury followed by a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. In spite of undergoing chemotherapy, Conner joined his teammates for Pitt’s Winter training, participating in all athletic activities and vowing to return to the game. Conner was declared cancer-free in May of 2016. His story of determination and perseverance will inspire anyone dealing with their own personal ordeals and bumps in the road.
Every Monday, the 45-minute podcast will take similar lessons learned in sports to help listeners set goals, overcome obstacles, and achieve happier, more successful lives. The Tackling Life Podcast will feature an array of sports superstars and lifestyle-guru guests, such as Olympic champion Michael Phelps, New York Times bestselling author Rick Warren (The Purpose-Driven Life), and others. Lewis and Conte, who met when they co-starred on the Spike TV series Coaching Bad, decided to create the Tackling Life Podcast to help audiences beyond sports fans create deep, meaningful changes in their lives.
