Turns out that with radio... quite a lot!

Radio continues to be #1 for reaching adults, according to the Q2 2016 Nielsen Comparable Metrics Report. Radio reaches 93% of adults every week – far ahead of TV’s reach with adults at only 87%. And when you examine radio’s reach across adult demos – including young adults – the stats are just as impressive. Radio reaches 92% of the 18-34 demo, whereas smartphones reach only 89% of that sought-after consumer group.

But there’s more!

The study also demonstrates that adults spend a lot of time listening to radio: 13 hours a week, five days a week! Combine that staggering reach with radio’s intimate one-on-one relationship with listeners, and its targeting capabilities, and you’ve got a campaign that sings.
