New York, NY – September 19th, 2016 – Special programming and live coverage from the 2016 Classic Rock Awards + Live Performance returns to U.S. radio exclusively from KMG Networks, a division of Krantz Media Group, which has partnered with TeamRock - publisher of Classic Rock Magazine and the event’s producers - KLab Entertainment, Parallel Contemporary Music, and AdLarge Media. For the first time ever, the event is open to the ticket-buying public and is anticipated to sell out the world-famous 10,000-seat Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, on Friday, November 11th. Rock legends confirmed to attend and perform in a Superstar Jam include Jeff Beck, recipient of this year’s Living Legend of Rock Award, Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick, Richie Sambora (of Bon Jovi), Kirk Hammett (of Metallica) Joe Elliott and Phil Collen (of Def Leppard) and Orianthi. KMG will offer a wide range of exclusive radio programming, including pre-event vignettes, on-site live red carpet coverage, and a two-hour post-show with exclusive interviews and performances featuring nominees, presenters, and winners. The programming wll be hosted by legendary UK radio host and KMG talentNicky Horn. Fan voting for the awards runs during the month of October, and all U.S. Classic Rock stations are invited to post a voting button on their websites. Voting categories include Best Classic Rock Radio Station of the Year, in Large, Medium, and Small markets.

Jeff Beck, the ultimate rock guitar genius, will receive the highest honours of the night and will also include live appearances by Richie Sambora, the former lead guitarist for Bon Jovi who has garnered critical acclaim for his solo work, and recent Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Cheap Trick.
