PR: Salem Media Group and Salem Radio Network Sign With KMG Networks for "Anchor Dashboard"
New York, NY – September 14, 2016 -- KMG Networks, a Division of Krantz Media Group, has announced that Anchor Dashboard, the customizable real-time dashboard that delivers essential information directly to news anchors in the studio, will now be implemented at over 35 of Salem Media Group’s locally hosted News/Talk and Christian Teaching Talk stations, including WNYM and WMCA, New York, KRLA and KKLA, Los Angeles, and WIND and WYLL, Chicago.
Anchor Dashboard will be used by such notable local Salem hosts as Joe Piscopo and John Gambling as well as by Salem Radio Network’s nationally syndicated programs, such as Bill Bennett’s Morning in America, The Mike Gallagher Show, The Dennis Prager Show, The Michael Medved Show, The Hugh Hewitt Show, and The Eric Metaxas Show.
The customized Salem Anchor Dashboard will integrate proprietary Salem content including Tipsheet, Twitchy, Regenery Publishing, and Hot Air.
Anchor Dashboard is part of Control Room Pro, a suite of game-changing digital production field and studio tools for radio broadcasters. AdLarge Media provides national ad sales representation for Control Room Pro.
“When I first saw Anchor Dashboard, I immediately got a picture of a host going from disorganized to focused,” stated Phil Boyce, Senior Vice President, Spoken Word Format for Salem Media Group and Salem Radio Network. “Anchor Dashboard helps the host stay on target. It is an amazing tool that every host can use. It allows me to send a message to 50 or more hosts with the push of a button....and I know they will see it right on their home screen.”
“Phil was one of the first believers in Control Room Pro’s Anchor Dashboard and grasped the value of its applications immediately,” commented Gary Krantz, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, KMG Networks, a Division of Krantz Media Group. “I am extremely excited to expand our relationship with Phil and Salem’s President, Broadcast Media Dave Santrella across the radio group’s Talk platform, as well as all of their national programming featuring their high-profile hosts.”
“We are delighted to have the Salem stations and network in our portfolio of offerings for advertisers,” noted Cathy Csukas, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer, AdLarge Media. “This arrangement extends AdLarge’s reach in News/Talk and delivers more audience engagement options to our advertisers.”
